LSU fan Traveling to Gainesville for the game. What are some of the best bars to drink at before the game?

The Swamp Bar, across the street from the stadium (down the street really about 2 or 3 blocks)

Drink up. You’ll need a shite load of drinks in you to watch that pounding you’re gonna take.

I hear there will be a Tom Petty cover band playing outside of the stadium before the game

You don't have to drink like a refugee.

The social is a great spot to grab some food and drinks and watch some games and then stumble to the game!

The downtown area in Gainesville has really been built up in the last 3-4 years. A lot more fun than it used to be.

Be sure to visit Lake Alice and relax...picnic tables, all kind of activities...be sure to roll up pants and get your feet wet and cool in the water.

Don't go to midtown. It's not great for a rival fan to drink there on gameday(the bars across the stadium). I suggest drinking someone like Piesanos on 13th and University. Near the stadium and good local craft beer and amazing pizza. Won't be hsstled there much.

Gainesville has been voted one of the best cities to live in multiple times.

So. Maybe you're just trash?
