There are lots of coaches that could at least replicate what Dan has done at State. Several could do more.

Sylvester Croom probably could have took them to the Orange Bowl last year right?

I will be on the Willie Fritz bandwagon when Mullen goes wherever.

Yeah, the cowbells are more delusional than LSU fans. Mullen is the Nick Saban (circa 2000) to the Mississippi State program.

Nope, nope, Dan is soft and hs coaches around here don't like him. Hud would out recruit Dan at State...and I don't want Hud.

He would be the wrong hire, IMO. What Georgia needs is a stud recruiter that can more or less lock up the state.
So you're saying they should go after Freeze?? That would suck.

Sorry Georgia, Lane isn't available to join Kirby.

Croom? He stayed 2 years too long. C'mon man.

Hate to admit but Freeze would be better hire than Dan, for Georgia. Why..because he runs a superior scheme and physical program. Plus hs coaches like him.

Agree with this. We need a change on offense to move away from the image of pro-style offense only towards the future of offenses built around athletic QB's, ex. Ohio St., Clemson, Oklahoma, etc. You need only look at what GA in-state recruit, Deshawn Watson, has done at Clemson to confirm. We are even seeing this in the NFL with Russell Wilson with the Seahawks and Cam Newton at Carolina.

Mullin made his rep as the OC under Urban at Fla. We'll see how he does, if he stays, with Prescott gone.

Last week, LSU fans were jizzing their pants at the prospects of hiring Mullen should Jimbo fall through.
Mullen is the sexy pick for a coaching job every season. Then he coaches the Egg Bowl and everyone flees the scene.
