Most fun I’ve ever had at a basketball game was Jackson State at Mississippi Valley State. And I’ve been to Rupp, Yum Center, and Phog Allen.

ETA: thought this was basketball. Not baseball

Valley beat the shite out of them so it was thankfully pretty chill. Valley’s coach was in a bright red suit that burned your eyes

ETA: I just realized this was baseball not basketball

Just looked up their schedule. I assume they play all their games away until April because it’s so damn cold up there.

This is dumb. How many of the schools share a stadium with a minor league team?

But what are their stadium kitchen and concessions situation?

I think Lindsey Nelson serves Pilot Truck Stop hotdogs and Pilot Truck Stop nachos, and Stuckey's pecan rolls

I think they were trying to do a version of Rosenblatt when they built the new Alex Box. It’s not ugly but it’s just…. underwhelming for that program though

You must be talking about Lafayette Stribling.
Great coach and easily the best dressed coach of his day. I know it is a baseball thread…

USM seats about 5K.

First glance, most larger stadiums in states without professional options. Makes sense. Oklahoma is a bit surprising.

Capacity sits at 5,548 in current state of construction. When construction is finished (2025), capacity will be 7,750.

That would move it up to 10th right now...and somewhere around 7th (depending on what others do), when it's done.

Their softball stadium holds more now than baseball. oSu (O'Brate) actually has a stadium that could compare to the top half of the SEC stadiums for baseball.

Wichita St (Eck Stadium) has 7800 capacity. Wish that program could get back to prominence as that's where I grew up and spent my childhood at Eck during the 90s.
