Well the Gainesville PD are the ones who said she hit him first and he pushed her away etc.

This is the same PD that arrests players for barking at a dog and throwing a sandwich. So, they just like being in the news letting people know that they are in control especially when athletes are around, and especially around thug behavior like barking.

A few things we can safely assume.

The girl was probably drunk or under the influence of something.

Brantley is strong as frick, so he could easily knock her down or launch her about ten feet in any direction.

Those things considered, the article says he pushed her away. If he pushed her down the article would say he pushed her down. So, he clearly didn't use more than the necessary force in this situation, or else the witnesses would have given a totally different description.

Eta: I'm completely assuming the girl is some skinny white 21 y/o sorostitute type. Is anybody thinking differently?

Too bad he didn't have a stolen gun or weed. Much easier to get away with.

I'm assuming he had been rearranging her ovaries and now that the draft approaches he told her she's done. The cleat chaser freaked out and went ballistic.
