I know nothing about the Ledger whatsoever ......but surely you're aware of the media in a lot of cases being very biased.(politics, sports,big business, etc)...... shocking I know.

Not really a tinfoil hat conspiracy theory. Ole miss pumps out journalism and english majors by the thousands whereas state has far more engineering grads. There are definitely significantly more Clarion ledger writers associated with OM than state

Here is why we know the Clarion Ledger is biased. Anything bad that happens to Ole Miss, the Ledger doesn't say shite until the story breaks everywhere else yet they are the state of Mississippi largest paper. Secondly, that paper was started and owned by an Ole Miss grad and even after being sold an Ole Miss grad was hired to run it.
Ever since the Ncaa investigation that piece of crap of a paper has done no digging on their own. Instead they print articles downplaying everything and constantly quoting Bjork and Freeze about how it's over and has nothing to do with current staff. Can we say "damage control?" That paper has lost all credibility long ago.
