Fun facts about Clemson

1. Thomas Green Clemson stated in his will that he wanted the university modeled after Mississippi State:
"This institution, I desire, to be under the control and management of a board of trustees, a part of whom are hereinafter appointed, and to be modeled after the Agricultural College of Mississippi as far as practicable."
2. It was an all male school until 1955
3. Clemson's first 3 head coaches were Auburn grads
4. Howard's rock was vandalized by one of their own fans earlier this year
5. They are on a current 4 game losing streak to USC with a combined score of 54-124 in the 4 games and failing to score more than 17 in all 4.
6. This fan was seen on T.V. after a Thursday night loss to Georgia Tech
7. In Omaha Clemson has needed one win to advance to the national title but failed due to back-to-back losses to USC. On two separate occasions ('02 and '10)
8. Their '81 national championship was followed with NCAA probation for several violations and if the NCAA acted teh same way they do today their title would have been vacated
9. Their head coach, Dabo Swinney is an Alabama grad who was a wide receiver on the team during the early 90s
10. They allowed the most points ever scored in a BCS bowl game giving up 70 to West Virginia in 2011

We play them this week. How many times did you get told that notre dame was msb? Is Georgia allowed to talk GT? Florida FSU? What about ole miss vs Texas? How much discussion did that have on the sec rant?

Yep thanks to these choke artist teams, I get to hear how Clemson would be a top tier team in the SEC on a daily basis.

All I know is if A&M beats Mizzou and Clemson beats USC then Clemson could make a valid claim they would be SEC East Champs this year. Better take care of bidness Cocks or prepare thy anus.
