Fulmer is currently 70 years old. Snyder was 70 when he got his second leg in 2009. They won the Big 12 North in 2011 and went to the FIesta Bowl. In 2012 they won the Big 12.

Fulmer can do the same.

The SEC East is on notice.

The Vols will rise again!

If there is an NCAA investigation, Fulmer will absolutely have to throw Pruitt under the bus to be able to avoid the fallout and stay there.

Would he do that?

I'll take it over the last decade and another limpdick coaching search.

Now that would make Tenner interesting again. Maybe not relevant, but definitely interesting.

I was unaware he only had one leg.

Congrats Phil! Today's medical advances are truly amazing!

Wonder what the Vegas odds would be? 5000-1? 1000-1? 100-1?

I am surprised he is the same age as Saban.

Fatboy isn't about to take the keys from Pruitt and step on that sideline again.

Although doubtful it will come into fruition,
the return of Phats on the sideline would probably be the best solution for UT---rather than prolonging
the agony with another search and disappointment
over not landing Jon Gruden, just burn all
the rot in one big fire, with Phats in the middle
and start over. Probably only take a couple
of seasons before Phats is chased onto
a one-way bus out of Knoxville----and the air
begins smelling fresh and clean again while
bluebirds dance in the sky to the happy howls of
Ole Smokey,

Fulmer isn’t going to coach again. He had way more power and job security as the AD. Plus, if he’s head is on the chopping block after this next hire he can use him coaching as a get out of jail free card.

I think you meant to say that Fulmer is about to have his Johnny Majors moment

I wonder if Phil is using the same knife on Pruitt as he did Majors?
