They said the undisclosed material pertains to an ongoing criminal investigation involving facts beyond the scope of the indictment issued against 11 people in October. Prosecutors say in the court papers that disclosure of the material at this time would risk exposing details of the investigation.

No he was too drunk for that. What he did plan was stopping by the 7/11 though ...

Translation...

I'd rather see Auburn lose than Alabama win.

I welcome the scrutiny, if we are cheating I want it found and stopped. If we have to cheat to win I'd rather not play at all. That said knowing the people behind the scenes and what happened I'd say it is simply not likely, not on the level being accused of. The people involved were cheating to help Tubs when they wanted him fired. the NCAA has already cleared Newton and said Auburn was in the clear. Newton's church was investigated by SI, and 5 NYT reporters. The funny thing is Tuna has said they are fronts to funnel cash, possible I have no idea, but his claim that no one goes to church at any of them is simply false and a flat out lie. The NYT quoted people going there after a sermon, note this is the same NYT that sent 5 people to investigate this deal and found nothing. Much of his information goes counter to what is out there, I stopped trying to correct him and simply let him have his tin foil hat reunion.

After months of investigation the BEST story that the NYT could come up with was a story about our graduation rates that could have been pieced together using GOOGLE??

I'll sleep easy tonight...

I was very pleased with how that whole issue was handled. Our staff and enforcement did a great investigation, did it quickly and got to the facts as best we could find them…The fact of the matter is, as we got to the facts that we could uncover, they led to the right conclusion and it was that there is no evidence there was anything inappropriate with this young man and with that institution had occurred…The burden of proof for the NCAA is a little deeper than the burden of proof for a blogger.

i know you aren't super hardcore like i am... but really, i will always maintain that i hate auburn like this...

i hate auburn so much, and all its fans... that i wish the football program only won JUST enough times to keep their football program from caving in and ceasing to exist... because the only thing better than an Auburn-less world, is a world where Auburn is bound to lose... always.
