I assume you're talking about 2011. LSU and Alabama played during the season as #1 and # 2 in the country, LSU won in OT. At the end of the year, LSU and Alabama were ranked #1 and #2. The BCS only had one stated goal, match #1 and #2. There was nothing in there about no rematches. LSU didn't like having to play us again and I don't blame them, but that's just the way it worked out under the rules in place. The option would have been for LSU to play a lower ranked team, just because. The committee would never have done that.

The issue is you think halftime 13-0 is an insurmountable deficit. It’s not.
The main difference was the magnitude of the game.

So glad we didn’t end up with Norvell. Can’t imagine going from Saban to a coach who preaches a mentality that if you lose because you quit, it doesn’t count.

Sounds like the complete opposite end of the spectrum as far as coaching philosophy. I'm not sure how his players can take him seriously after the way he handled that whole situation.

There is really no reason for 'Bama fans to feel insecure or angry towards UGA.
Our program owns yours. The most recent matchup was pretty much dominated by 'Bama from start to finish, as was the case for five out of the last nine games (2012, '17 and '18 were all tightly contested, credit to Georgia. They were all great games.)
You can of course believe what you want, but at least now you're aware of the reality of how we view your program.

It wasn't just 13-0. It was 21 yards passing the entire 1st half and Alabama was obviously going to lose without the change.

The last time Alabama played Georgia, Georgia got it's shite pushed in all game on both sides of the ball. Alabama won the SECCG and Georgia got sent home to play in a shitty bowl game. I highly doubt Saban was worried about that 1-5 record Kirby has against them.
And the best news is that Georgia can no longer use the SEC scheduling office to avoid the good SEC teams as you have your entire history. Kind of like your 1980 Championship with one of the weakest championship teams in the history of college football.

That’s bad and so is the 50 yards passing and a fumble against AU, but it was just a regular season game, so he didn’t get benched. It needed to be something much bigger for that to happen.
