To be fair, I've only been to a few of the East beaches.
The rednecks are all in Crestview, Niceville, and Milton and we don't claim them.

Destin/Ft Walton/Panama City is pretty nice. But, that's all the panhandle has going for them.

I don't like the the Atlantic side beaches either, I was confused because you seemed to include Tampa as the East which to me implied you thought the panhandle beaches were better than peninsula beaches. And there is no beach better than Siesta Key.

Destin Beach > Every other beach in Florida.
Now, I've been to some of the Atlantic side beaches and I don't remember the water being crystal clear but I haven't been to all of them.
We also have Billy Bowlegs parade. Those who know what that is will appreciate it. lol

Nah, Tampa and that area has nice beaches.
I've never been down to the keys so I can't say all of them are good or bad.
