Oh man! Alabama wasn't even going to play hard in the game before this happened.
If you get to your locker as a DE before practice and there is a quote saying, "FSU OL says they'll push Alabama's DL around like rag dolls," you're going to respond to it.
Stuff like that can turn an ok practice into a full on intense and great practice for a team.

Disagree. It can make a great practice just that more intense and can have guys show even more focus in film and meetings. The guys are always focused on every team but locker room material is used in every locker rooms even on "championship teams".

It's not advised that any player talk shite about Alabama before playing Alabama. There are several examples of opposing players doing it and the Alabama players rallying around it. You can say it doesn't impact the outcome and I'll tell you you're full of shite. Alabama players don't do it so FSU players aren't getting that extra motivation. Bama is a bunch of 5 start studs playing for a future in the nfl coached by one of the games greatest coaches.
This is a huge game and the first of the year.
The university president could have said he was personally going to watch the fsu team rape Alabama for 4 qtrs. And nothing of materiality would change

I don't see any problems in teams talking trash. Its part of the game we have today. Did I think it sucked to see TT always holding up 5 fingers? you damn right I did but he earned that right by wining the games. I thought the clown playing take the money and run and son of a preacher man was some rivalry level shite but Auburn won the game and that's the way it goes. I was at that game and remember laughing and telling my there was probably going to be some hell to pay for that. What do you expect someone officially affiliated with the a College to say? We are getting the shite kicked out of us? The guy was probably just trying to stir up a little extra pub.

If you don't think Alabama's defense is on a slightly different level when playing LF then idk what to tell you. It was CLEARLY obvious. Now it wasn't because he talked shite, but the matchup was personal to them and it showed.
