I don't disagree that it was close. It absolutely was for 3 qtrs. Once Bama took the lead only a few doubted they'd win the game. Once Bama went up by 10 early in the 4th quarter I think even most Arky fans knew how it was going to end.
Ultimately, it was a 13 point game that played like a 10 point game, to me anyway.

Well, I think that was his main point about playing Bama tougher than most thought. The first game was rough but he was in a tough spot that year.

Geeze. Come back, Pig, when your team has won even ONE SEC title. Until that day, you are not an elite SEC football program. Arkansas isn't even a GOOD SEC program. Championships measure good programs.

Yeah, on field results are so clever and witty, as opposed to the standard measure of success used by Tiger fans (inflated preseason aspirations). LSU is always a championship team based on preseason perceptions. Sucks to be reminded that when it comes to what actually happens on the field, LSU is just another SEC team fighting for 4th place in the conference, doesn't it?
