UK-UofSC & A&M-UGA should be fun ones.

State vs Vandy should also be a good series.

Looking forward to our series at South Carolina. The Gamecocks are rock solid, gonna be a tough environment in Columbia for the Cats to pull off the road series win. But we've defied all expectations so far

I -- along with a significant portion of the Ole Miss faithful -- am pulling hard for Alabama to end the interminable misery of Ole Miss baseball.

Finish us!!!!

yeah our fans are apathetic despite our team being pretty solid. On one hand I can't blame them, on the other we were a supers team last year and in the mix for a host this year. At times it borders on Kentucky basketball type fandom where if we arent top 8 our fans arent happy

With our pitching woes, I'm not sure I even want to watch this series.

So you're saying there's a chance?
Maybe we don't get 10 run ruled that game?

As an LSU fan, this is tough for me to say but I do hope that the Vols and Tide sweep Mizz and Ole Miss. But they still have to take care of Auburn.

I used to think SC was like an SEC west baseball school with rabid fan support but everything I've read the last few years has shown your stadium is pretty quiet and crowds are thin. How can that be for a school with your history? I genuinely don't get it

I mean....we usually are. When Tanner was here we for sure were. When they moved to founders they really killed the spirit of it all though. At Sarge we had the third base hecklers. "The same old crowd" was at every game. When we built founders we were able to put more into the park, but it was so nice and new that we had casuals showing up. Casuals are fine, but heckling went away as they complained to the yellow shirts. The school has actually taken a hard stance on heckling of basically any kind. So yeah, the product has been what fans want with Holbrook or Kingston, but then the yellow coats/admin driving away the everyday fans by tossing them or telling to stop heckling has hurt our support also. So basically being a national title contender we still had packed places...but being only top 16 the casuals have quit coming

Every game on TV has also hurt fan support

Post Ray Turner, they have been very up and down with the ups not being all that high.

0/10 WS Appearances
4/10 Supers
6/10 Regionals

Most of the west powers have had more on-field success the last decade. The Cocks fanbase is kind of checked out on year 7 of Kingston.

A change of HC or a CWS appearance would absolutely change a lot, atleast for a year or two

You're right.

A&M had some success, but Childress kept us in a state of good, not great. Fans were tired of just making regionals and occasionally hosting or making the WS then not winning in Omaha.
