Ags definitely the most dominant team in the country as of right now. Let’s see if they keep this up through another month. Very impressive so far though

They have a damn good team. Can you imagine the melt if they lost in the Regional to a horrible Texas team? Perhaps we can borrow some players from UTRGV to make it happen..

There is some posters with A&M badges over last 2 or 3 weeks talking big talk. I guess they were too young to see the team in the 80s who were like 50 something and 6 and lose to LSU in the Super Regional with McDonald pitching. Best A&M team did not make the Workd Series that year. Baseball when it counts is what matters. It’s a skill sport and any series bats go cold or every solid contact straight to the defense. Just never know. Almost need alittle luck to win the World Series much less get to Omaha.

After a season like this…. Providing it continued like this into regional… it will be very disappointing to lose in regionals. Regardless of who we lose to. Will it be slightly worse if we lost to Texas? Of course.

I may do a stat dive at some point to see if teams get upset more often in the Regionals or Super Regionals.. My gut says that the Regionals are harder because you could face multiple aces, but in theory, the competition should be better in the Supers..
Sometimes teams just come in as buzzsaw's..
That NC State team that took out Arkansas in 2021 had a good shot to win it all imo.. they got totally hosed with the Covid forfeit against Vanderbilt..
The Notre Dame team that took out TN was pretty salty as well..

Absolutely, seen some awesome teams not make the CWS. A&M a few times. Tenner a few years ago. Hogs should have made it last year.
College baseball., anything can happen. Need to be peaking at the right time. That matters the most.
