I can see Hugh Freeze coaching at Ole Miss for 20 years. As long as he wins.

Seems like he gets Ole Miss.

First coach I've seen that actually had a passion for the school. And with the way his daughter broke down in the locker room after Saturday's win, you can tell the family is proud to be in Oxford.

I'm happy right now but we were also happy after Nutt's first year too. I will admit that this feels much different than Nutt's 2008 campaign however.

I want Hugh Freeze at Ole Miss forever. He had a good year but there is nothing better than when your rival program goes sour and the head guy is super religious. The public pleas with Jesus will be priceless, like Auburn the last 2 years

I'm not much of an Ole Miss apologist, but damn. That's retarded. What does Jesus have to do with winning a FB game? A good coach is a good coach. Period.

Dont be uptight. I always find it humorous when people get desperate in relatively meaningless things like athletics and go religious crazy. Like Chiz's wife facebook this year. Im not ashamed to say I thought that was funny

ETA I think Hugh Freeze did a good job and a good coach

Yeah, but I don't think Freeze will let his foot off the gas, like Nutt did. The man has too much pride for the university to do that. His recruiting will do wonders in helping him be successful. Especially if he pulls in the class we think he will this year. This one alone would define the next 4 years.

I tend to agree but the pessimist in me won't let me get too excited. That wouldn't be wide considering the shite we've seen.

I think there is a huge difference in then and now. Nutt was the old guard. CFB cuaght up with him and passed him by. Freeze gets the how and now and he wont crash and burn like Nutt

Lets be honest. That shite show in Knoxville can't hire a coach of Freeze's caliber yet.

Unlike Nutt, I actually like Freeze as both a coach and a person.

Nutt was a used car salesman.

Freeze is the likable guy who married into your family.

All rivalry nonsense aside, I agree with this. Tennessee will shite the bed with this hire and get Dooley 2.0
