I just want Auburn to go back to having a GREAT defense and a hard nosed smash mouth offense.
It's just pathetic how bad Jacobs has perverted Auburn's football philosophy and reputation. He's so desperate for a quick fix under his watch that he doesn't care to think about the long term. I don't see how you Auburn fans put up with Jacobs man.

Malzahn isn't a good coach. He cheats as much as Freeze and it's obvious to anyone with eyes to see.
I'm sure the Auburn faithful are as quiet as possible on all this Freeze stuff because the implications are there to be made.

When was the last time Auburn closed by stealing anyone they really weren't in on throughout the process? Especially top 20 type recruits. I'll hang up and listen.

I'm not arguing that Auburn cheats aren't smarter than the idiots running the show down there in Oxford.
I'm just saying that the comment I responded to (and your own response) is 100% disingenuous.

yeah, i honestly don't understand the whole Gus being a bad coach b.s. He's proven he can win with above avg to well above avg talent, and lose with average talent. Other than that, I can't say anything more cause he just hasn't had enough time to build an SEC HC resume.

I never said Gus doesn't cheat. Only that it is ironic to infer Gus isn't a good head coach when he has demonstrated an ability to do the job better than the coach of the team of the original statement about him being "not a good head coach".

Yea. He might tank this season but one thing is certain we won't be celebrating 7 or 8 win seasons at Auburn. I suspect if he can find 8 wins this season he'll settle in and be fine.

It's Sunday, so Gus and the family enjoyed church and the usual visit to The Waffle House. He likes the All-American Breakfast with a side chocolate chip waffle.

I didn't say he wasn't a good assistant coach. Just not a good head coach.
