We had two starters go down during the UGA game last season. Inserted two true freshman who had no significant playing time and not only didn't miss a beat but came back and won the game. Chance Hall was one of those true freshman and the UGA game was his first significant action - he gave up zero sacks that game and wound up being freshman All-America at right tackle. The other was true freshman Jack Jones a nasty road grading guard.

Right now, we have three legit options at tackle and the position battle will be between: Chance Hall who can play both RT and LT, Drew Richmond, and Brett Kendrick. Blair couldn't get in the rotation when we had a walkon playing tackle on a torn ACL. He hasn't seen significant action since he's been here. Raulerson wasn't cracking the line up this year either - this gives him a chance to see the field.

We have depth on the OL. It has gone from a position of weakness to a position of strength.
