Honest question: What's been the best offensive team you've faced this year and how does FSU compare to them?
FSU's is Clemson and its not even close. Auburn scores more than them and is tied with them for total offense. Clemson put up their number like FSU on garbage teams. They got shutdown by 4th best team in the SEC. But Auburn is a running team unlike Clemson so the most comparable offense is Boston College who put up 34 on them.
Also as much as everyone wants to hype up FSU's great defense they gave up 189 rushing yards to a Catholic school. Auburn's backups didn't even give up that to Arky State and they are a good running team. It all comes down to the fact FSU hasn't faced any good running teams. They have only played 2 in the top 50 in the nation.
UGA, Missouri, and Bama's run defense looked great too until they played Auburn. I find it hard to believe that a first year DB's coach turned DC and understudy of Saban is going to stop Auburn when Saban couldn't himself. Even with 2 more weeks to prepare. Plus he has to be prepared for what Gus adds to the offense with the extra time.

On paper I'd go w/ FSU but I'm thinking the Barns a team of destiny this year and will pull it off miraculously some how.

Thanks for reminding me of why I don't post on the Rant much. Even when you compliment Bama or Auburn a moron of that fan base is going to pop off. Had it happen twice today - once a Bama can and now you.

I never said winning 12 games and losing to the best team in the country Florida State was a failure. I wish Bama were in the same shoes.
