Just got a call from a friend in Tuscaloosa who said that each university only received 19,000 tickest to the NC game. 38,000 tickets total to the schools. That leaves 54,000 to sponsers and such. $$$ is the name of the game these days and not for the true fans !

That's not what the ticket office and Tide Pride said ! Even if that were true, that still would leave 42,000 tickets......still sad !

Just be glad it's the rose bowl.
You should be able to snag some tickets.

Regardless that is less than half of the capacity alloted to the schools.

I realize you Bammers are new to this BCS Title Game stuff. It's been a long time since 1992. Just ask us Tiger fans how to score tickets, we've had a couple of recent experiences. (Hint: you should have started back in the summer)

This.
If I'm a Bama fan, I'm bidding on national championship tickets before the season.

Yeah, because someone who has a job and some money to spend could not possibly be a true fan!

There's quite the money to be made in buying tickets early, then selling them if your team doesn't make it.

Yep yep.

As a Bama or a Florida fan I would have had my tickets early.

I'm an Ole Miss fan, though.

So I'm just not gonna bother.

It's all about $$$$$ brah.
Remember The Sponsors are paying all the bills for this. Just the way it is in just about everything they can squeeze another Dollar out of. It's called Capitalism...LOL

Its the sponsors who put up the money for the purse you will bring home (and make the games possible). If you want tickets so badly buy them on the open market.

Its not really 'Freaking SAD'

There worried of all those bama fans out in LA
Bama has been the frontrunner all year - your just now starting the process of finding tickets, that should've been done months ago!
Where there's a will, there's a way, Bama fans biggest problem is Texas fans - they know the landscape out there from 2005.

Despite the obvious step ahead that Bama has taken, I will fight to the end.
