I hope to good our D-line is just dominant otherwise the way they've looked against our O-line is troubling.

Did you make it to practices?

I wish, been relying on the reports on 24/7 and other sites. Driskel supposedly looks awesome when the defensive line isn't going all out-- he's actually putting touch on deep throws (though not as well as Grier), as with last year everyone who has been to practice says D-Rob is the best WR on the team by a large margin, hopefully this season he has his head straight and can stay on the field.

All reports are that Dante Fowler has looked amazing, but that the OL first team has looked OK against the D. It's the 2nd team line that's been getting mauled. That's what I've read.

Heard Willis might be the Freshman other than Tabor who gets the most play.

Any chance Grier is the #2 qb and gets most if the garbage time snaps for UF? He is the future imo.

Grier should RS. Treon will get snaps though. I think that's the plan unless something changes.

Im of the philosophy you win now by whatever means necessary. I imagine will is of like mind right now.

If the new OC whispers to Will and says grier gives us the best chance to win, frick a redshirt and frick thinking 2 and 3 years out.

Of course. However, the plan is to RS Grier.

JD is supposedly doing well in the new offense. The Grier RS is out the door if JD gets injured though. Grier is a more polished passer than Treon.

I think our O-Line is the key to our season. If they play well the sky is the limit, if they don't, it will be trouble.

I'm gonna go ahead and go on record that I think UF will be the most improved team (overall and record wise) in the SEC this year.

I watched the Gators a good bit last year. I picked Miami to win as a dog last year and said it on here about a dozen times, but UF kicked Miami's arse all over the field. That seemed to be a recurring theme the first half of the season, kick arse and find a way to lose. I think Boom is a good coach and UF just couldn't catch a break last year. I'm saying now that changes this year.

We find out early against Bama what UF has. I think it is going to be a lot more than people expect. IMO, UF is just as good as UGA or USCe in the East this year. Schedule looks brutal, but it really isn't considering most of the tough games are at home or neutral site.

UF for my "surprise" SEC team this year.

Funny if you go on the Miami sites, they think they kicked our asses all over the field

UF literally gave Miami that game on a silver platter.

Watched every play of that game. UF definitely gave that game away.

Dont count too much on Tabor, everything I have read says that he has a bad fall camp and gets beat by the recivers alot in practice and JC Jackson is more game ready then he is at this point. Duke Dawson will get a lot of snaps at safety this year though.

Any word on Quincy Wilson? I know he looked good the first few days of camp.

I think the OL will be fine, but I agree with you. More importantly, we've got to stay healthy, though

The coaches are harder on Tabor than a lot of the other DBs. That doesn't mean he hasn't played well.

So I am hearing Mayes has separated himself from the others for the nickel spot, I thought he was a SS? Looks like Poole may move from nickel the starting corner opposite VHIII, and Neal is going to be one of the safeties. Is Neal a FS or SS, and are they somewhat interchangable in our defense?
