Why you rolling your eyes at that? It's the 118th Team we've fielded - last year was Team 117. I suppose you could argue we should count all our years as a program and we could but since it's based on teams fielded it wouldn't be right not to acknowledge that there were several years we didn't field a team due to the wars. Some schools did field war year teams but we did not - we fielded soldiers instead. Hence, our nickname that goes back centuries.

Yes and we beat Carolina, who beat Mizzou, who won the east.
So.......Mizzou < Carolina < Tennessee < Florida......Congrats on the SEC East title!

FRPC = Football Power Rankings Committee. There are members from each school, who vote anonymously unless they choose to reveal their ID. The members from each school are responsible for these great team previews.

I meant to say this earlier but y'all did one helluva job. Several lines made me laugh out loud - e.g our schedule 'is like climbing Mt. Everest. In a blizzard. In flip flops'
But there were far more lines that made me lulz because they were so true and painfully accurate.
Props to the Tennessee FPRC Team - when I first started reading it I kept looking for the link wondering who wrote it because it was THAT professional. Breaking it down on several levels was fantastic. I might have a few minor quibbles (that's no knock - I could nitpick anything because I'm just a contrarian like that) but overall this is an A+++ analysis.
This was better and more in depth than anything I've read by the 'experts' thus far. Damn well done.

Thank you!! We believed we could pull off previews and game analysis because this place is full of passionate, funny fans. There are people here who know a lot about their team - more than some professional reporters who read a little about a team, attend a practice or two then play expert. We thought our best fans could do that well, or better. And I think we are succeeding.
The previews are also a good way to get familiar with the competition.
