This gets money moving. If you made vegas set a line today bama would be favored in every game. UT will be dogs to UF.

Bet your life savings.

The FPI is like most computer polls pre-season...

A talking point, but otherwise useless

Alabama (58.9%)

No. Don't think we will be favored for this game even if it is at home.

The team FPI favored won 78 percent of FBS-only games this season, which placed FPI in the top 15 percent of the 68 systems tracked at predictiontracker.com.

I hear about the FPI all the time, but this suggests there are around 10 systems more accurate. I wonder what those ones are.

FPI has been a good indicator of how well the Vols would do for the past two seasons.

Let's hope that hold true.

Not true. But we would be to Bama and possibly UGA. Although a loss is possible, people don't put their stock in streaks enough for us to be the underdogs.

I have it on good authority LSU is shutting down its football program due to funding, but we all know it's because we can't beat Bama. I mean, y'all are just that good that no other team can ever compete again. Even if one can manage to best you, it's only because you ran out of time, or you beat yourselves. Everyone knows this.

In fact, I think every year there should be the Playoff champion, then a separate national title awarded to Bama just because you're awesome.

I agree dude - in fact I think Bama should just go ahead and make the Cup - We have won ALL of the national titles

They won 48 out of the first 47 years and they have won 30 in the last 28 seasons - they have never lost a game

they have never been out played - they never lost 5 games in a row to Lsu !!!

they have the best fans

they have the best football stadium

they have the best coaches

they never get home boy treatment from the SEC office

Bama Bama Bama you can kiss my assssssssss !!!!

I would go to a Bama forum to talk about the FPI but they won't let Lsu fans talked to them - wowowowo

we lower the level of football talk in Bama land

Everybody underrates Alabama's ability to "plug 'n play" every year. That's why there are so damn many threads predicting multiple Bama losses every pre-season.

I agree with this for the most part, but you can't seriously believe that starting a new QB every year isn't going to bite you in the arse eventually. I mean, it almost lost the SECW for you last year if OM had actually been as good as their fan base claim them to be.

A&M shouldn't be favored in any SEC home game based on Sumlin's record. HOWEVER, A&M has never lost in Jordan-Hare...

Seriously what is with y'all and home games? Mizzou has the same problem.
