kind of a silly sentence in there that fails to mention the other starting Mizzou D=lineman leaving, Vincent, and threw in a meaningless reference to Michael Sam.

True, Mauk didn't improve at the rate he needed to, but he did make some small progress in his game over the season. The guy may have it in for the East but the 2 thru 5 spots are a grab bag as MU, TN, SC and FL all have too many variables to predict what will happen.

What a new and interesting way to talk shite on Mizzou. So we're going to suck for the same reasons they said we would suck last season, which they were wrong about. Great job guy that wrote this. Better go ahead and make the correction now and not put Mizzou on his preseason top 25 list.

Why do they bother with these lists? It should look like this every single year:

1. Notre Dame

2. Notre Dame

3. Notre Dame

4. Notre Dame

5. Notre Dame

Beyond Chubb, though, Georgia is starting over on offense We may end up being overrated, but this isn't true.

Don't think so either, fwiw. I think you guys take the East.

Every. Single. Year.

"Mizzou has been underrated the last 2 years and still won double digit games and, as a result, we're going to keep discounting them."

They are notorious for having the softest November schedule in the SEC. Now all the inbred Jeds from K-town think Butch is the second coming of Phat Phil. Sept and Oct will be fun watching the Tennessee two-step melt.

We also regularly have one of the toughest out of conference schedules in the conference. And Bama is notorious for having one of the weakest overall schedules in the SEC.

Articles such as this are so meta. If the press believes it might overrate a team there's a simple fix: don't. The press kinda determines the hype level.

Instead these guys do a CYA article such as this.

It's been their's to lose the last two years too, and somehow they have done it. What are the odds they will make it 3 in a row?

You realize people say that because we get to play Tennessee every year, right?

lost 3 close games, vs us, Tenn and Vandy, so yea, like I said it's the teams you really should be able to beat not the Bama's, that haunt your coach. Yes you were beat up pretty good, but still could have won all those games, and the other loss's all had low margins as well from what I recall.
