WG, in all seriousness do you not feel your team has underachieved in a few of the seasons under Richt?
Of course! And I have never hinted otherwise. He's also massively overachieved in a few as well. I'm just saying that overall, as a whole, there really isn't a lot of difference in richt and some "elite" coaches other than they got a few lucky breaks in a year.
Let me ask you this hypothetical. Let's say murray completes that last pass in the '12 seccg and we beat notre dame (which would practically be a given). Absolutely NOTHING about richt's personality, coaching style, playcalling, mindset, etc etc etc would be any different than it currently is. The only difference is that he'd have 1 more SEC title and 1 NC on his resume. What would people say about him then? I guarnatee you there wouldn't be such a proliferation of 'he can't win the big one!' 'richt always underachieves!'....isn't that funny to think about? Literally one pass of the ball and 5 seconds of clock time is the difference in the reputation richt has and him being mentioned as one of the best in teh country. That seems illogical to me. He'd be absolutely no different as a coach.

eh they say that already. And by "they" I usually mean rival fans who think that that's all us fans like him for.

Glad to see that those closest to him aren't saying that. I always knew that guy was a real prick.

If I recall wasn't that loss due to poor time management by Richt?
Look I understand what you are saying and probably wouldn't want Richt gone either. I just felt the need to bust your chops and give a little back to you. Haha
I was rooting for UGA in the game and have no doubt UGA would have beat ND soundly had they won the SEC.
Just know this about me. I cannot for the life of me predict Auburn to lose even though I know we are overmatched. I will most likely always pick 12-0 even though I know 4-8. Lol

I love the take that it is only bad luck holding Richt back. Just forget that Auburn is closer to having 3 national championships during the 21st century than Georgia is to having a single one

can your illiterate arse not read? I made a specific point to not once, but twice clarify that that is not what's holding us back.

Seems like AU fans are the ones with too high preseason expectations.

2014: Predicted 10-2, went 9-3

2011: Predicted 10-2, went 10-2
Pretty close for the most part

Why don't you just face the truth and admit that Bama and Georgia are your daddies and move on with your life?
Wins in 2014
Alabama - 12
Georgia - 10
Auburn - 8
Wins over Auburn in 2014
Alabama - check, 55-44
Georgia - check, 34-7

So really the only difference between the two fanbase predictions was Chizik's nuke on the program in 2012 where not one single person on Earth saw that coming.
I'm also glad you didn't do one for 2009 or 2010. Those poles would have really thrown a wrench in your analysis.
Imagine that... rant posters having higher expectations than what actually happens. Never would have guessed it on this site.

Yeah, just like no one saw our entire team get devastate with injuries in 2013, our only year that was way off. 2 of the 4 years our fans were right on the money.

Sorry I can't magically go back in time and create a preseason prediction thread for those yeras and collect that data.
