And Ole Miss never got their SEC West Champion banner. Sometimes when your goals are high, you don't reach them.

LF really did have the rotten luck to face two of the most dominating run defenses in CFB history. Sadly, and this really is partly the fault of some LSU fans, he has come to be defined by his performances against Bama to some degree. Not entirely, but people -- including some LSU fans -- have made his performances against Bama so important before he ever took the field against the Tide that those games will be what people remember the most about his college career.

Of course, in this age of GIFs, people can keep posting images of him running over Auburn and TAMU defenders to help remind everyone that LF certainly had more going on than his Bama performances.

LSU fans are pretty happy with what Leonard did here. He will go down as a player everyone will remember. He single handly won several games for us.

Seems other fan bases who are either trolling, dense, or jealous are the ones making a stink of it.

Well, he'll have a pro oline to work with........there's that. And, with all the shite talk, let's wait a year or so and see how he matches with Henry.

Most of y'all, yes. That's why I emphasized the 'some' bit. Some of y'all just put so much on his shoulders in anticipation of breaking the Bama streak that there's no way he could ever have lived up to them. And when not only failed to come close, but actually had nightmarish games....

Do you remember the people calling for Guice? Fair enough. Guice is really good. But some of them couldn't do that without slipping in potshots at LF at the same time.

He said defensive busts. You only named running backs.

Coffee decided to quit the NFL to join the army as a paratrooper. What a fricking loser, right? And Ingram is leading the NFL in YPC, even though he's in a horrible offense for a RB.

And busts or not, they've all earned more money before 25, then you will your entire life.

Btw, how have LSU RBs played this season?

Interpolating, LF would have eventually gotten a hundred on Bama, going by his increase of 4 yards in '16 vs '15. But I think it should be pointed out that it would take approximately 16 years to get a 100 in a game. Currently NCAA regs do not allow a player to play for 16 years, with 5 years being the max in special and rare situations.

57 attempts for 145 yards total.

2.54 yds per carry vs Bama in his career.

Les and O should've kept feeding him the bawl. He had already picked up 14 first downs.
