A. I'm not defending it.
B. I think the root reason is that we are used to getting most of the instate talent historically, minus the 90's. We don't have instate competition so people "assume" the best guys should go to LSU. When it comes to college sports fans in Louisiana, its VERY homogeneous for LSU.

And I didn't insinuate you trash in-state recruits. The other poster called LSU fans trashy in general and I asked if he was a Bama fan, because if so, LOL

This was the excuse they came up with for Carter leaving the state if anybody didnt follow this recruitment. There's always an excuse with this group.

there are very few people that actually believe this, in my experience. Bama fans have a terrible reputation as being trashy. The rest of the country pictures straight up trailer trash when they think of Alabama fans. I'm not saying I agree, but you know that's the perception. Stating otherwise is denial, plain and simple.

You haven't an idea what you are talking about. He is so salty because we slow played him. He didn't get his offer until he came to camp. Not saying we wouldn't take him, but we were in on some guys we had rated higher.
