That's a valid question, for both fanbases. Weird that a few of the Auburn town criers are here complaining though.

Unless he can produce a body, so to speak, nothing will come of this. It's not that you have to produce proof for the NCAA to act on, it's that you have to produce proof the NCAA can't ignore.

Right. He can say whatever he wants. At worst it's just another black eye. I highly doubt he's going to be producing receipts.

He's pretty safe in Auburn. He will likely just blend in with all the other AU defensive busts. A real life Where's Waldo of suckatood.

After Cam and the investigation, Auburn fans don't really care about this stuff anymore. I think a lot of us were naive about pay for play but it's clearly an industry standard now.

I'll only get pissy if it becomes blatant.

I haven't seen either one in 20+ years. I confused that one movie where Robert DeNiro plays a mobster and mentor with that other movie where DeNiro plays a mobster and mentor. My bad.
except in Bronx Tale, DeNiro plays a bus driver and the kids father, who is not in the mob, and is very against his son being involved with the mob

Yep. He's either too stupid to do something simple as contact them directly or he did and they weren't interested so now he's seeing if he can find another buyer.

I'd enjoy another ATPB or even simply a new HBO 4 as much as any Bama fan, but I'm thinking Mr. Florence might have a credibility issue or two.....

I'm looking at the Rivals top prospects list from the year 2011 in the state of Alabama. My goodness, that was a crappy year for recruiting in the state. None of the four or five star recruits ended up doing anything for the schools they signed with. The only decent players from that year were Ameer Abdullah, Sammie Coates and Coker.

In November, Florence was on his Facebook talking about trying to get back to AU on the team, War Eagle, blah blah blah....

Come January, he's yelling Roll Tide and talking about paying cash money for a car and now has some story on Auburn.

You do the math.

But, but, he went to Auburn and got that high quality education.

Did he actually do this? If so, doesn't mean he went all Gene Jelks and got cash from the other side of state. Could just mean he's so pissed at AU that he's pulling for their rival now...or he could have gone Gene Jelks.

It's not just Cam, it's the slew of bullshite cheating mini scandals that occurred before/after. The HBO garbage, stuff like that. I'm totally desensitized to it now.

Of course, these flame out athletes who go to the press or tabloids looking for money are the easiest to ignore.

Their story could be about some type of criminal activity at Auburn. That assumes he even has a legit story.

Going with a serious response for a moment, IF he has a legitimate story to tell, this is almost certainly the subject - but saying that Auburn had some serious problem children on the roster during that time span is news to exactly nobody.
