Probably. I'd have to ask permission to look at him first, though.

Check back when the NFL starts talking about a pattern of struggles and bust like they do with Bama players.

Yea, Bama players don't exactly have a track record for success in the NFL.

So you're saying the top draft picks don't need to be early contributors to their teams?

not when every person who knows a thing about football said Robinson had upside but was not polished

he was drafted on his potential

Threads like these make me chuckle. If the player in question was a former UA player this thread would be 8 pages long filled with AU LSU and maybe Om and AM fans. Totally ripping the kid. Feels good being on the otherside

Nah, the Bama bust threads are after a year in the league

GRob doesn't even report to training camp for another month

It was?

No. It wasn't. Not at all actually. He was drafted because of his versatility. If healthy, Jake Long is the starting LT. Rodger Saffold was re-signed because of his versatility and ability to play LT if needed. Robinson is in much the same boat. He will remain at guard unless and until he's needed elsewhere.

I'm not saying anything. What the NFL analyst/writer is saying is that Robinson's struggles should have been expected since he was coming from Auburn's system.

I would expect other SEC teams to use this against Auburn in recruiting.

He's not struggling at all but I would expect SEC teams to make something out of nothing if it helps them.

“It’s frustrating that I’m not up to pace right now because the playbook is more intense and things are changing but once I get back to where I’m comfortable, things will calm down and I can be myself out there,” Robinson said recently, via Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com. “I didn’t know what to expect, honestly. I put a lot of pressure on myself because I like to challenge myself. It’s something I want to do and just stand out to the coaches and let them be comfortable with their choice.”

I hear ya but he is expected to be an early contributor. Thus why he's listed with the #1's on the Oline.

Obviously. Barrett will be a career backup. Nothing wrong with that. Barrett also wasn't the #2 overall draft pick.

Actually back up to the back up. That Mizzou boy Tim Barnes pushing him back in line at center.
