While I'm lucky in that I never had it happen to me, I saw first hand what it does to a guy when he finds out his wife is cheating. And I was on the periphery of a situation...my ex-girlfriend's best friend...when a wife finds out her husband had fathered a child out of wedlock.
Cheating by a loved one is a hard pill to swallow. For anyone. The man has my sympathy, and I hope he recovers soon.
