So he's slamming both Mizzou and Aggy?

Not slamming so much as being honest.

yea and he also knows that bama isn't Texas either, nobody has that kind of money, and that includes bama.

What else will bevo do to "buy" there place at the top of that conference? Who knows, but a guy like Loftin is smart enough to not want to stick around and find out.

Once Saban retires bama can easily slip back into mid tier relevance, look at Florida for an example.

Loftin got Aggie to a good place, and was then 'shown the door' by the powers that be, but their loss is Mizzou's gain. Loftin is smart enough to know how to leverage the advantages that Mizzou has, we are the original "Sleeping giant".

It's you can put lipstick on a pig

I thought it was, 'you can polish a pig, but in the end it's just a turd with lipstick'.

Or maybe I'm thinking of, 'You can't make a silk douchebag out of a pig in a poke'.

If he's talking about money, then Alabama is not Texas.

If he's talking about championships in football, Texas isn't a wart on the arse of Alabama.
