The NCAA is the one who said only seniors could transfer.

Such BS by Sankey or the NCAA to not allow transfer to SEC. But the coaches can do that right?

Iron Man 11. We got this. Surely we can keep 11 and field a team, correct? Just need to do some major cardio so they can stay on the field for 60 minutes.

I have fives years to play four left in the tank. Can I come play?

Can't say I'll put in any effort when we play Auburn, but I'll give it my all for Colonel Reb.

Hell yes. And you can get a good loaner car from Cannon Motors for your services. Just drop off a car with no motor and he will hook you up with a 2018 loaner.

Players sure as hell shouldn't be penalized b/c of the powers that be. They had no hand in it.

If any of them or their families took illegal benefits they should have their remaining amateur eligibility revoked.

Players requesting release so far....Shea Patterson, Tre Nixon, Van Jefferson, Jarrion Street,Deontay Anderson and Jalen Julius.
Five of them are working with lawyer Mars

Stats
Jarrion Street - 23rd on team in tackles with 10
Jalen Julius - 20th on team in tackles with 15
Anderson - redshirt / was back up safety
Nixon - 1 reception
Jefferson - 42 receptions (good player)
Shea - obviously good

so really two good players leaving - also NCAA has to allow them to play next year..OM has no say so

Working PR for the University of MS has to be the easiest job in the world. They obviously don't care

"Faced with even more negative publicity, the school wisely chose to do the right thing and do it quickly. That should satisfy some parents who were seething earlier in the day.

“The ethical thing to do would be to say, ‘We screwed up and we’re going to let your son go where he wants,’ ” said Shawn Jefferson, wide receivers coach of the Miami Dolphins. “Keep the kids first. When they recruited Van, Ole Miss came into our house and broke bread with us. They said, ‘We’re going to be an extension of his parents and take care of him and do things right.’ That was a bunch of bull—-. We expected them to be about the truth and honesty, and we got the exact opposite.”

“Right now I feel like my son has nowhere to go, and this is awful,” Marion Street said. “If Ole Miss had just been honest with us — but to just outright say there is nothing wrong [during the NCAA investigation]? Could you imagine if this is your child?”

Sanctions were weak. It would be a different if their underclassmen were allowed to transfer.

It's BS to put ANY kind of restrictions on these players because of their dumbass coaches.

Nice work, Sankey.

that's a quarter of recruiting class. Y'all only had 20 enroll last year (3 JUCO) and have 11 committed for this cycle (2 JUCO). It's going to be about bodies for the next two or three years.
