Ok. Not sure what you're trying to prove with this.

Ohio State is the Big Ten now. They are the only school from that conference that recruits well in the southeast (which is where the majority of the talent is located). This is why OSU has been so dominant under Meyer. He knows the secret to winning in the Big Ten is to lock up the state of Ohio (which he has done) and to recruit well in the South (which he is doing).

That's over 2 years old now...

Definitely explains why I'm seeing this.

Of course. SEC is the best conference. Period. But other conferences are on their heels and are better in different aspects.

I don't think any other conference is very close really. Take away Ohio State, Michigan and Michigan State and the Big 10 is horrible. Big 12 is representing hard with Baylor and TCU as the front runners? That can't be sustainable. Oregon, Stanford and USC in the Pac and nobody else. There is no other conference that is remotely close to the depth in most sports as the SEC.

Uhh Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas?

The ACC is right there with Duke, FSU, UNC, Louisville, Syracuse. Just because other conferences aren't as dominate football conference doesn't mean it doesn't succeed in other areas.

Football is the big money maker. Without football there would be no money.

This. Take out the top three contendors in every conference including the SEC. We would have the best conference and it wouldn't be close at all. From top to bottom, no one competes, hence SEC Network.

"better in different aspects," (overlooking the glaring grammatical aspects with regard to your sentence structure - lulz), how so? "Better" how and in what "aspects," (with regard to NCAA sports or conference comparisons, academics) what is it you were shooting-for with that claim?

There is no doubt that Nebraska a dead powerhouse, with zero instate football talent, giving them almost zero potential to recover. But I'm not going to talk about football.

Nebraska is so lame, they're trying to sue Colorado for legalizing marijuana. Apparently they had twenty or thirty extra arrests in the state last year. They're apparently afraid it will lead to some morally reprehensible behavior, like dancing or wearing hats indoors.

If anything, I can't believe Nebraska didn't legalize it first. It's so fricking boring and ugly there, I figured everyone had to smoke to maintain sanity.

And y'all must either be seriously slow, or have a stick so far up your arse, it would hurt Michael Sam. I mean, there's nothing in that state but corn, but you can't make moonshine worth a damn? Or is it that you can't make it, because there isn't any shade?

In 2013 our athletic budget was 66 mil, this coming season it will be 92 mil. Once the SEC network has kicked, little OM will have an athletic budget well over 100 mil. Stupid OP

The Nubs should just be happy they escaped.

They're a fading hag in a rust belt conference.

Their best days are clearly behind them.

It may be the big money maker, but there is money to be made else where which is what other conferences are doing.

That's a shame ... they used to be a classy bunch. Some of the best fans in the country.
