Wow, it definitely is a sad day in UT history when their own fan base expects to lose by 20-30 points.

UT's LBs, especially if Maggit is not 100%, and secondary against that Oregon offense....man could be rough. Respect for keeping the game on the schedule though (insert Ohio St and Northwestern joke here)

Y'all payed for a good one.

Yeah...he is gonna be a good one. We also have BJ Kelley (an absolute burner) that is coming along nicely. Oregon just hasn't had excellent WR since 2008. It will be a luxury.

Do you think we paid for Prevot too?

No, but if you aren't even confident that the vols can keep it close, then that is pitiful. Even during the Shula era, I didn't expect to get blown out.

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that I don't agree with you that the Ducks will blow you out. But the fact that the vol fans are so downtrodden that they are expecting a 20-30 point blowout is a pretty sad testament of the Tenn football program.

I think Butch Jones will have Tennessee competing. Oregon will wear them out in the end, but Tennessee will be fired up and ready. Jones can be a 9 win a year coach and will probably eventually have Tennessee as one of the top teams in the east. He is already recruiting well.

Btw, don't tell that dumbass Crompdaddy I said any of that.

It's been nothing but a clusterfrick since 2008. You'd be hard pressed to find anything that was consistently good about the Tennessee football program since then. It might be sad but it's the truth. I'd rather call it like i see it than wallow in delusion. I think we get beat by 20+.

What is more pathetic? Ignore the situation and act like Missouri? Or to man up and say we shouldn't win but what the hell. Oregon has nothing onTennessee as a program or a fanbass (they have great fans though). It would be disrespectful for us UT fans to act like this is a game we should win.
