No A&M is a good football team--just not a great one. With or without JM the best you have done is won a cotton bowl and no appearance in an SEC championship game. It seems like some A&M posters feel like they have already won an SEC 'ship if not more.
Like I stated congrats for a good season and being competitive. Look forward to seeing how your season goes.

I actually agree with dljtigers, we had a great year last year, and winning the Cotton Bowl was great for our first year, but this year I've got higher goals for this team, I think we will go into Baton Rouge 9-1 and in the Top 5...what we do in Baton Rouge that day could earn us the respect a lot of us are looking for

I think the OP (although misguided IMO) was a response to the repeated nonsense on the Rant that once JFF leaves we will go back to sucking. I was summing up the inconsistency of what others have said--that A&M goes "back to being shitty" when JFF leaves, but also stating that A&M already is shitty, and hasn't done anything, 3rd in the SEC west, etc. So, we're going back to being what we already are when JFF leaves, so we're basically going to stay the same, which is shitty.
What they are really trying to say is that A&M is a shitty program. I'm just asking people to stop beating around the bush and say it. Just say, "A&M is a shitty football program." No need to go into all the other bullshite.
