When Bo threw the game sealing pick against y'all last year, my cellphone was spiked into a million pieces on the scored concrete, door was kicked , followed by mother fricker about 10 times outside at midnight.

I get back inside, and I get a " I can't even be around you anymore when you watch football". That was the best news I got all night. The absolute fricking worst is when your team does something god awful, you are fricking pissed, and you have to explain what just happened to her. You just want to move on and tell them to get the frick outta here lol

My wife is pretty understanding actually during football games. She does get mad at me when I get "depressed" for that 30 minutes to an hour after a close loss.

I have a rotation of standing/sitting around the living room based on how things are going. Also I'm a pretty outgoing guy most of the time. But when the rebels are on tv I am 100% silent. I sit there and just get tunnel vision on the tv and can't carry a convo and talk to myself the majority of the time

How is it any fun if you sit by yourself and get stressed out?

Bloody Marys and sometimes some football band music. I also am busy logging in picks for a pool that I run. I then print a sheet out with the gametimes and plan which games will be on my 3 different tvs.

Main reason I don't like watching with people who aren't close friends. I cuss like a sailor during games

I can relate. My hound dog likes to hang out in any room a game is on. I think she associates it with food. But she doesn't like cussing. Any time someone starts getting loud or starts cussing, which is frequent, she'll get up and ease out of the room until things simmer down.

And she'll howl any time she sees Smokey on TV because she's got a thang for him.

Not pregame but during a game if something good happens whoever wasnt in the room is bad luck and has to wait for something bad to happen to come back in.

Most of the time I just stare at the TV, drink heavily, and shout out one maybe two words on a good or bad play. The lady of the house will come from another room and inquire "what happened". I enjoy watching LSU games when she is around or if I'm by myself.

With other people around my social interaction is cryptic at best. When watching any other football games that LSU is not a part of, I am fairly interactive with the people around me.

I hate watching games in bars most of the time because I can't hear any of the game sounds with all the chatter. I have my go-to crew of about 6-8 guys and some girls that I watch games with. Even when I am in Athens but don't have a ticket, I will go and tailgate and do all that fun stuff and then go to someone's place to watch the game and then DT after to party.

If we're the home team, I wear a crimson shirt, visiting team a white shirt.

Shirts worn during a big loss get retired. Usually by fire. Sometimes before the game is even over.

If I have to watch a game at home it's by myself. I hate watching with people unless they're auburn fans. Also if they talk the whole game they're getting the boot. Casual convo fine but frick talking about other shite

Plenty of beer and I have to watch the game live. We don't play well when I'm watching a recorded broadcast, so I won't even pause the TV for a minute.

I've known this for years, but I started doing it rigorously with the LSU game last year. For the rest of the season, the only time I didn't watch the entire game live was the Missouri game. We were leading, and then I had some unexpected guests drop by, so it's my fault that we lost and I'm sorry Razorback Nation.

Definitely like watching alone or with the girlfriend if she's not working. This shite's too serious. When I involve other people it feels like it inevitably becomes a more social event and that takes away from my focus on the game.

Of course I'm just talking about important Tide games. This doesn't apply to games I'm not "personally invested in."

For the Iron Bowl last year me and the gf went to campus and tailgated a bit before watching the first half at a restaurant on the strip. It was hell and I couldn't enjoy the game until we got home. Not doing that again anytime soon for big games.

I usually watch by myself or with the SO or my Dad, who are both equally as intense as I am during games and won't be appalled at the things yelled at the TV.

I always wear blue/UK gear the Friday before the game. That may have to change since I'm moving to a job in a HS and the staff typically wears the school colors for Friday night football/gamedays.
