Well they literally have no excuses. Texas has all the money, facilities, fan base etc. They pay their coaches more than any school in the nation....but they can't even come within 2 TD's of BYU, after having 3 seasons of a .500 record (or maybe sub .500) in the Big 12...which was meh over that span.

I know there isn't a direct correlation...but since the conference realignment rodeo started in 2010:
2010: 5-7 (2-6)
2011: 8-5 (4-5)
2012: 9-4 (5-4)
2013: 1-1 (0-0)
Total of 23-17 (11-15)
But at least they're undefeated on the Longhorn Network (7-0).

While I love the hell out of Joseph smith getting the go ahead from god to kick the shite out of texas, I still need this team to beat ou and end with a respectable record. We need Mack around for a bit longer. The absolute minimum to keep mack around for another year is what I'm going for.
