Kind of off topic but I watched that youtube and the announcer was beside himself that LSU would further embarrass OM by taking 4 knees and saying he never saw a team do that nor a team take a knee on 4th down and I called bullshite. Why? We did essentially the same thing vs AU in 2006. Ran on 1st down to the 5 or so and then Georgia took 3 straight knees. Also complete with fans doing the "nah nah nah hey hey hey good bye chant"

The only reaction that Verne has that is better IMO is this past year when Auburn completed the hail mary against Georgia. "OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!! OOOOOH NOOO!!!!"

Always great to see a rivalry celebrated. I think a lot of times, we forget the our fellow fans, especially those fans of our historic rivals, are what makes college football the best sport on the planet.

The real crime was letting 10 seconds run off on 3rd down before calling time out.
But Ole Miss deserves a lot of credit for knocking us backwards and living in the backfield. Lafell was in beast mode though -- every good play we had in the last minute was Lafell, Lafell, Lafell.

Ole Miss is our biggest rival where the hate is requited and mutual.
Our younger fans may be inhateiated (made up a word) with Saban and Bama but they got a little reminder last year that old times are not forgotten.
Auburn is my favorite series but they have too many rivals already.
I have a ton of respect for the Iron Bowl but it's good to educate everyone on the Magnolia Bowl. It may have a shitty trophy but it's been a great series over the years.

It would help if we didn't roller-coaster between okay to bad for extended periods of time. Geographically we are y'all's natural rival as well.
