We're not as good as they are and never will be. Face facts bro, they own us. Just let it go, it'll be ok. We'll go on beating up on the rest of these arse holes and losing to Bama, it could be worse.

How is this relevant to 2014?
The difference in talent hasn't changed over the past 3 years and Bama still kicks the shite out of LSU

Break down Alabama and LSU and show me where and how much better BAMA is at each position or each group (LB's, DL, QB). WR is obvious because of the experience...
On defense, the only position group where LSU might have an advantage would be at corner. Alabama has talent there, but lacks experience. Alabama wins the group comparisons on the DL, linebackers and safety. On offense, QB is a push because no one knows how well or poorly either team's quarterback will compete. RBs are fairly close, but Bama has more quality depth. WRs to Bama, as you concede. LSU's OL is deeper and more experienced. It shapes up the same as it does every year, a fire fight, and it would not surprise me to see special team play determine the outcome of the game this year. I know we are breaking in a new kicker and punter and know nothing about LSU in this regard.

Jesus Christ.
Thanks for inviting this, Prom.
What a fricking disgrace.

The difference in talent is negligible.

This is a fair and honest assessment.

Sims is a 5th year Senior. Coker has been with the coaches practicing for 3 weeks. I expect Sims to start and Coker to overtake him within before the Florida game. Their biggest problem has been the OL. Had a lot of people out and they've gotten pushed around by the DL. All up in the QB's faces.

Only a couple legit responses so far.
I honestly see them as a draw. If BAMA is better it won't be by much.
I'll get back here later. My 4 year old daughter wants me to play super Mario Bros
As much as some of these guys want to believe this is a troll thread, its not.

Alabama and LSU seem to be in very similar situations this year in terms of their offenses
There is one big difference.
Lane Kiffin =/= Cam Cameron

Florida State transfer Jacob Coker has garnered preseason hype, and though he's got serious talent, the reality is this is going to be -- for lack of a better Sabanism -- a process. Coker hasn't exactly torn up every practice in crimson. The race is still on. But if Alabama turned to Blake Sims, they'd basically have to retool the Tide's pro-style offense. Sims is a runner who would thrive in a different scheme. He's not really a natural drop-back guy. That's why I think Saban will strongly consider a two-quarterback system -- or at least a package for Sims. Navigating this quarterback battle is one of Saban's biggest challenges at Bama, where he's had serious quarterback stability.

As long as either one is as talented as Greg McElroy or John Parker Wilson we will be a team no one wants to play. Oline is more concerning than QB.

I am an Auburn fan. I'm here like I was before January of 2012. Bama is better than you guys.
