I know it means a lot to ya'll. heck, man, when manning was at Tennessee and those big years when Cutcliffe was OC and Tenn was winning, the bama game was still crap - it was the Tenn/Fla game that was of interest.
Georgia/Florida was a big game; AU/Alabama. I'm aware of some big games but the Al/Tenn game has never been a must see game unless your a fan from one of those schools.

So 27 out of the last 30 matchups one of the two teams was in the top 10 with almost a third being both teams top ten. Bama has a 57% win percentage over virtually that timeframe so it is fairly balanced too.

look at it this way. do you really give a damn about the LSU/Ole Miss game? no. we do. and they do. but virtually no one else does.

I would guess LSU and Ole Miss has featured 2 top ten teams at the same time maybe once or twice the past 30 years.

Compared to the numbers above for TN vs Bama I just looked back at Ole Miss Vs LSU.
