On one hand, UL isn't the most obvious choice.

But when you look at how UL is comparable or equal to LSU in terms of baseball, basketball, academic performance and national prestige, it's tough to argue against them.

Very similar to Arkansas and Arky State, really.

Plus them being LA's flagship university...seems tough to say no.

Certainly LSU is better known, but at this rate, for how long?

I honestly kind of feel bad for you. Have you ever posted anything not making some kind of "ULSU A&M BR" joke?

Lucky for Texas that 13 other schools would have a vote too.

I'd be all for letting ULL in if we could kick out Ole Miss. ULL brings more to the table than Ole Miss, plus we already have the flagship of Mississippi in the SEC in MSU. Ole Miss would probably get a conference championship in the Sun Belt within the next 10 years, too.

56% of the student population at ULL is female. So there is that.

-Arky no because of history
-Mizzou no because of history
-UK no to keep pact that keeps out Louisville
-USC no because MSU:A&M to Clemson:Texas and they want them kept out too
-Georgia no to make sure GT never slips back in and to keep fricking Bama out of their division
-UF no to keep a TAMU vote to prevent FSU from ever getting in because frick them they turned it down once
-LSU no to keep ULL from getting in
-Bama no just for the Nick Saban scare
-Auburn no because one Bama is enough
-Tenn no because one UT is enough
