to have a contingency plan worked up wether that be a neutral site or a change to BR. Foley even said a neutral site game was never considered. This storm has been forecasted to hit where it is for a week so there is no excuse not to have looked into this as a contingency plan knowing the hurricane was coming.

It was Gainesville or nothing and that is just a shame. Terrible leadership

NOBODY wants to lose money. In a neutral site game unless the sec offices were going to cover travel expenses for Florida and give them the take why should they play neutral site game?

They either gambled and lost, or this was their plan all along.

Either way it's a shame no one will be held accountable.

Teams hosting events affected by natural disasters have moved their games or to other dates with in the same weekend numerous times. Why does UF feel they are better than those other schools? Why should the obligation be met by LSU as the visiting team when they offered to work towards all of the compromises that teams have accommodated in the past?

Weird move by UF. I remember LSU opened up T.S. to plat USCe when their state was flooded. Yeah, attendance was down but it seemed LSU went out of their way to make it as "home like" and welcoming for USCe.

Did LSU offer to do the same for UF?

Because their home venue has been compromised...this is not a diificult concept.

Well, maybe for Gumps and Floridians it is.

Florida loses money either way because their plan involved giving up the home game on 11/19/2016

I remember that. LF7 even auctioned off his jersey for South Carolina recovery. It was classy.

I know UF wouldnt want to lose a home game...but now they lost the game period. Weird.
