Agree. I was in the Southwest corner and couldn't see it until it was already on top of me. Loud as hell. Scared the piss out of me.

Not a jet, but did see a pretty cool demo by a member of USAFA soaring team bring a glider in a high speed dive over the middle of the field, loop it and land it on the field at halftime a number of decades ago.

There were a couple times when Ole Miss had flyovers (2007 Florida and 2008 Auburn), the jets came back around and did an illegal flyover right before kickoff. One came over with afterburners going and about scared the piss out of me. Came from East to West, right above the lights.
