Don't get me wrong. I know we are improved in many areas but I don't know how improved.

DL is stout.

Floyd, Green, Powell, Easley, Howard etc are one of the best groups around.

I'm very comfortable with Roberson and Elam. However, I'm very uncomfortable with Riggs as the #2 corner. I like Watkins there, specifically in a Muschamp attacking D where we will zone blitz quite a bit.

I'm also very fearful of our LB's in coverage. They have simply sucked in pass coverage thus far.

I love our QB, RB, and OL situation. WR are pretty good so far, but Thompson drops another easy one tonight, and we still have some WR's in the wrong areas.

Our DL is very solid. Not very man complaints here. Our front 7 is solid against the run, very good. Our DL gets really good pressure in passing situations, and our LB's suck in coverage as I expressed earlier.

UF's ST's seems really solid as well. Kickoff coverage was MUCH improved tonight. Sturgis seems to be making everything.

Coaching from last year to this year isn't even comparable. This year's staff is actually acting interested.

That's my outlook so far.

Funny thing is, McCray is actually playing a bit better than Powell right now IMO. Powell is such an in between player, I think he starts playing more SAM, and McCray starts rushing the passer more.

Damn, that's the second time I've heard that about Powell today (father in law is a big Gator).

Powell just has so much raw ability that once he's in the right spot there's no telling what his limit could be

Bostic has sucked in coverage (last year and so far this year). He is a great run-stopper, but is always a step late in pass coverage. I love seeing Mike Taylor getting reps the last two weeks.

Sky is the limit for Powell. He's just in such a weird spot. He's pretty good off the edge, but he seems like he could be even better in space as a LB and blitzing off the edge. McCray has really stepped his game up this year.

I just told my co-workers earlier in the week that Florida and Texas could easily be 10 win teams. One down year doesn't undo all the great recruiting they've done the past few years.
