Stricklin is the current AD National Champion

Mississippi State Director of Athletics Scott Stricklin was named a winner of the 2015-16 Under Armour Athletics Director of the Year Award by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).

I may be missing this by a tad, but I remember someone on WRUF saying State's athletic budget was around $75 million and Florida's is around $115 million.

I was very impressed with his press conference. Talked about his love of Mississippi State but that this was an opportunity he couldn't pass up. Believes it is the top AD job in the country.

I think Florida is closer to $150mm. Correct on ours.

This is the same dude that apologized for scheduling Oklahoma State when they beat MSU OOC.

What does that have to do with a man doubling his already comfortable salary? Florida apparently had enough confidence in him to take the keys of the building from Foley. He is capable of doing a very good job there.
