Not gonna happen. FSU brings nothing ($$$) to the table for SEC consideration. Besides, they had their chance years ago, but Bowden was scared of the competition.

FSU to the B1G would be giving up games against Miami, Georgia Tech, Clemson, the Carolina and Virginia schools.

It's just not happening.

Florida State has a much better chance of getting into the SEC than they do the B1G.

I think the B1G might poach a few more schools, but Florida State sure is not one of them.

If a school isn't an AAU school, you can forget about it.

Nebraska only got in because they were in the AAU at the time before getting kicked out.

The B1G isn't going to take a team that isn't in the AAU, nor would they ever consider taking a team whose tv rights are owned by another conference. It will never happen until the ACC grant of rights agreement expires.

Would certainly bolster the East if they joined.

But would Auburn stop crying about getting away from Bama, er, moving to the East?

Florida State is nowhere close to AAU material. Plus the B1G wants nothing to do with perennial Fulmer Cup candidates.

Nebraska was notified that they were losing their AAU status around the time they joined the B1G if I'm not mistaken & they let them in...

Do not think Auburn ever cried to go to the East to get away from Alabama, that would likely be the cross divisional opponent.

Now you could make the argument they want to play easy wins like Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Mizzou.

Some of you guys really want to add teams? 14 is not enough? I wasn't thrilled personally when Missouri and a&m joined but I came around. eventually the conferenced would become too watered down though. You can't be a true sec champion if you don't even play half the conference...

FSU just made it to the CFB playoff with a very weak schedule.

Why would they move again?

Play 9 conference games and it would be almost the exact same as it is now...

And drop millions of cable subscribers for the SEC Network?

Fat chance.
