Will it top the epic 2010 cripple fight?

Sorry to hear this...Though injuries are part of the game, you never like hearing about any player having to sit out the rest of a season.

The starters on the OL are 3 leftovers from the Meyer era and 2 transfers. Honestly, I can't wait for Muschamp's players to break in to the depth chart there next year. He recruits much tougher individuals.
time out. isn't this muschamp's 3rd year? if his recruits can't beat the leftovers and transfers you speak of they must not be that good. people are playing freshmen these days man. LSU had to start 2 true freshmen and one first year transfer last year. i'm an outsider and i apologize if i offend but my perception on him based on a number of years of observation is that he knows his shite on defense but seems to be in left field on offense.
oh, and sorry to hear about Jones; i remember when he went down but didn't he return and play several effective snaps? was he hurt a second time and i missed it?

Well pops, Boom seems to have an aversion to starting freshmen on offense and especially OL, WR, TE, RB and QBs.
The OL recruiting is also disappointing at best. I'm not sure our new OL coach is getting it done on the recruiting trail at all. There's so much PT to be had it should be easy.
Also, for whatever reason, the State of FL doesn't often have a great pool of OL from the HS ranks.

Damn. That sucks. Hope he gets better fast. Injuries every year but man there seems to be a lot to key personnel in the SEC this year.

Really sorry to read this.
Fricking no helmet-to-helmet stuff is doing a number on a lot of knees this year.

What is it with these good backs getting hurt against us? Really sucks for the kid. Are we knee hunting? Anyway,He looked good while he was in Saturday. Fred Taylor's boy impressed me as well.

Anyone with football knowledge knows that OL is not a position 99% of true frosh can handle in the SEC. We have a lot of upperclassmen and naturally you work r/s frosh in...but Humphries is an example of a young player who got starts early because of need and he was AA OL in high school and recruited by Boom.
Honestly we have really missed the boat on OL recruiting and I scratch my head why. Boom has concentrated on defense and needs to let the offense get more players. We are going to have hard time selling UF to recruits on offense if this keeps up.

Can you imagine our teams if the SEC didn't eat its own? It's fantasyland but just damn.
