LSU is refusing to buy out their South Alabama game and play UF that weekend. LSU should just forfeit and we can move on

But see, that's just it. We shouldn't have to do that. Like Alleva said, LSU tried to do everything possible to play that game. He laid out how much was offered and what we were willing to do to play it but Florida kept refusing. We shouldn't have to NOT ONLY give up a home game, but then play 3 road games in a row... That gives up several advantages LSU would have had ALL BECAUSE Florida wouldn't agree to a game this weekend.
This whole thing is bullshite and Florida should be punished by taking the loss. Everything is sorted out that way and from now on, every SEC team will know they can't just cancel conference games without an automatic forfeit.

this would help moving forward.
i still want to see us kick the shite out of florida, but not if its fricking stupid like almost ever scenario that has been discussed.

I'm moving on. I want to read and discuss football games, not old white guys making power plays at a podium.
Going forward, why is there not a universal bye week near the end of the season, or before the sec championship game, for future games that are cancelled for whatever reason.
Seems like there is plenty of time between the start of the playoffs and the end of the season to make this accomodation.
