if LSU played with the kind of heart Clemson played with in that bowl game last year, LSU might have beat alabama for the title. Clemson doesn't give up when it looks bad. LSU does.
That Boyd pass to Hopkins on 4th and 16 was one of the most clutch plays in college football history. that was Michael Jordan stuff there, they;llse

Wait for it...wait for it...wait for it...YES! The hillbillies are already starting to believe! They are gonna march down to the Swamp and skin themselves a reptile to take home in their big foot marsh buggy with a rebel flag.
Bad news Cromp...better check schedule again...this aint Western Kentucky and it aint one of the door mats you've scheduled. The only anus that should be prepared is the hillbillies and my suggestion is to bring plenty of XXX sour mash and drink til pain subsides. UF is the # 1 defense in the SEC and we have allowed a whooping 2 out of 24 third downs to be converted...let that stat sink in.
Please dont tell me Worley will buck the trend....that dog wont hunt against us. I half suspected UM would beat us because this was their bowl game and they wanted this win more than anything. Even though our offense plowed them for 424 yds andour defense allowed 212 TOTAL yds...we found a way to lose. Driskel had company in the losing blame game and he threw some great passes along with a couple of ill advised ones. ur frosh wrs arent quite ready yet but will get plenty of reps in practcie the next two weeks. Dunbar and Patton are seasoned wrs to be afraid of though and Dunbar has spent some time in the weight room and it shows.
If LSUs vaulted offense is halted in its tracks it will be interesting game to watch next month.
We should be undefeated til then...the pigs have scheduled their usual assortment of Sisters of the Poor and may find the confines of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium aka The Swamp, a little more challenging. I am not predicting a UF win over LSU as I knew we would suffer a setback between UM and LSU. Our goal is to be in Hotlanta.
I can tell you now that I think our DL is deeper and better than last years...# 2 Easley is a man possessed and five or six more holding calls should have been thrown saturday...# 7 Ron Powell is back and he is hell bent on getting to the qb, so have fun pass blocking...both require two blockers. UF is allowing 50 yds a game rushing and the vaulted UM rb gained 2.9 yds a carry against us...any questions?

Only a Clemson fan would turn a UF thread into a Clemson vs. LSU pissing match.

Maybe not this year, but check back with us next year when you add the trip to Bammer on your schedule & we'll see how all that "we don't care who we play" bravado works out for you.

Just as I assumed....you're roughly 14.

Right now everyone is ahead of themselves. UF, UGA, Bama, LSU, USC, ATM, Ole Miss and even Vandy are gonna have their days...mark my words.
The best defense though in the SEC hands down is UF. I like our chances with a killer D. And as far as our rushing attack...I was disappointed in our inability to run up the middle against UM, but they stacked the line as a defense should and force the passes. Matt Jones was back after a viral illness and wasnt as sharp..Mack Brown isnt an explosive runner...but a steady compliment. Just remember that 5 * Kelvin Taylor is our true frosh rb who may start to get more carries.
Our glaring weakness on offense is at TE where we have no one to throw to....but thats being worked on.
Memo to Clemson fan: LSU looked bad against you guys in a bowl game that they didnt want to be in and against a foe they didnt want to play against, Just as we felt in the Sugar Bowl and ask Bama what happens when you go to a bowl game that you are disappointed in going to...see Utah for reference.
