That thankfully not much occurred in Gainesville and a plan B or C easily could have been in place on T or W to play the game on Sun or later on Sat...in GV.

Also, LSU fans' concerns earlier in the week about a projected Cat 4 storm hitting the coast and causing great damage were discounted then (called pussies) and is now apparently or conveniently forgotten by all of you.

Not worth it. Don't try to argue with logic with that fanbase.

All football all the time in Louisiana. If the fans gave as much a shite about their school as they do the football team...

Is this coming from a fanbase who has been rubbing a hurricane in Florida's face all week?

Seriously?

That's on a completely different level.

That's exactly my point.

If this particular incident makes Florida the "most classless school in College Football" then the OP needs to get out more.

absolutely destroyed Jacksonville.

I dunno about destroyed. I live in Jacksonville and we never lost power. I live just off Hodges. I realize our area was lucky...but realistically Jacksonville as a whole got lucky. It could've been much, much worse.

Our AD messed up not having an alternative planned for Monday night. Our coach had absolutely nothing to do with any of this. I guess we have to draw a picture to for that to sink in.

Can you cite another incident by another school that would top this one?

You're kidding me right?

Penn State honoring JoePa before a game this year and adamantly defending his honor on the regular?

Baylor fans advocating for Baylor to rehire Art Briles in the midst of their sexual assault scandal?

And there's the countless frat signs at multiple schools that have said far worse than a skeleton tiger with beads.

And that's just this year.

I'm not crying about ME, you a-hole.

I am, however, pissed off at you guys taking shite lightly when I legitimately have been helping friends cut out drywall and pull up carpeting from homes that were flooded out during the storm.

Cool, they didn't die. I am grateful for that. But they have genuine shite to deal with and to basically say nothing happened because Gainesville is fine is a farce, dude.

Dude, I'm serious, its not worth arguing with that trash.

They don't get it.

Entitled fanbase is entitled. frick em.

Florida has proven they are a bunch of asshats over the last two weeks.

It's absolutely ridiculous for any Florida fan to use the hurricane as any type of excuse that the game wasn't played.

2005: Hurricane Rita hit the Louisiana coast on a Friday night 3 weeks after Hurricane Katrina hit. Rita was a Cat 5 storm in the gulf and was a Cat 3 when it hit Lake Charles. Rita caused $12 Billion in damage in the U.S.

LSU was scheduled to play Tennessee that Saturday night. The game was rescheduled to Monday night and the game went off without a hitch while 100's of thousands of Louisiana residents were without homes.

So................. give me a break with your whining.

We're not the ones incessantly starting bullshite threads. Like this. And then saying we're "classless".

But the irony will be lost of most of you. Call it the TOPS syndrome.

None of your examples are aimed at -another- school, Little Miss Failed Reading Comprehension.

None were perpetrated by the players.

I'm not. Again, I advocated for it to be played that weekend but in BR because I wanted the game to be played.

What I'm bitching about is the fans acting like the hurricane did no damage to Florida.

So now we're moving the goal posts to justify calling Florida's school the most classless ever? Got it.

We need to be more thoughtful when posting on the Rant. LSU fans have a pretty big safe space that must not be violated. We must be considerate in each of our posts that we do not offend them.

Runs to the Florida board to cry. Maybe foley will let you spend some time in his panic room.
