Stanford literally wins the award for best overall Athletic Department in the country every single year. That's how.
Florida is the best East of the Rockies though.

Because they play 20 more sports than any other school, so it's just math that they score more points. They don't win anything, just rack up points.

never win shite except more overall championships than LSU since joining the league and more victories in the sport at hand. pyschologically? you were the one that made a florida thread about A&M.

And if you had the "best athletic department in the country" then you could afford to compete in more sports. But you don't, because you're not the best.
And Stanford wins plenty. They've won 113 team National Championships. Closer to 200 if you count non-NCAA awarded national championships.
There's a reason they're about to win their 23rd straight Directors Cup. They aren't the only school that has a lot of varsity sports, and you don't win the directors cup just by showing up.

What? I can't remember the last time Stanford won a Championship in something that wasn't a women's sport. No.
Also, OP is talking about the last ten years. Not since their existence.

Isn't Florida also the only school to ever win the NCAA Tournament and the CFB national championship in the same calendar year as well?

I have been saying that for awhile. Florida has the best athletic department in the conference and one of the best in the country.
